Nathalie Moreno joins Speechly Bircham's IPTC group
We are delighted to announce the arrival of partner, Nathalie Moreno, at the start of December.  Nathalie joins us from the London office of Beachcroft where where she was a partner heading the international technology team. European Commission revisits E-Signatures legislation

Over a decade ago the European Union along with many other countries around the world predicted an upsurge in the use of technology in order to provide online identification and online authentication of people and messages.  Read more.

 

Royalty Audits Revisited

In Licensing Agreements where the payment to the Licensor is in the form of license fees or royalties either as a fixed price per unit sold or as a percentage of "net sales" it is important in the current economic climate for Licensors to revisit the robustness of their audit clauses. Read more.

 

UK Courts permit injunction for breach of exclusive software distribution agreement

In the case of Talaris (Sweden) A.B. v Network Controls International Limited, 20 November 2008, the English High Courts granted an interim injunction in favour of Talaris against Network Controls in relation to its breach of an exclusive distribution agreement. Read more.
