Ah, 2007. What a wonderful year for technology

Finally, music downloads the way you want them!
Amazon is the first online store to sign deals with all major record

labels to distribute music files without copy protection. This will allow

consumers to use files on any of their devices - which seems fair enough

given the fact they bought it. Previously the music industry has been

incredibly wary of such systems. Hopefully this is the beginning of a

trend.

WiFi smart cards, advanced GPS, wireless HD TV - you want?
At January's Consumer Electronics Show in the US a vast array of gadgets
were unveiled including a number of items advertisers may be using in the near future. IAB's pick of the pack is the 'radio for the deaf' that automatically converts audio into text. The implications for this are far

beyond its current name because the technology could be used for the hard of hearing, such as the elderly, on any audio in the future.
